Serving Coney Island
Serving patients from Coney Island, at the eastern end of the Surf and Neptune Avenue corridor.
We have one office, and it is not in Coney Island. Feel Good Physical Therapy sees every patient at 2993 Ocean Parkway, Ground Floor, Brooklyn, NY 11235, in Brighton Beach. This page is about getting there from Coney Island.
Coney Island is the best-connected of the neighbourhoods we serve, and the only one where patients have a real choice of route. Between the Stillwell Avenue terminal and the Culver Line there are five different train services within the neighbourhood, plus two bus routes running east along the corridor towards us.
Feel Good Physical Therapy has a single office, on Ocean Parkway between Brighton Beach Avenue and Neptune Avenue — at the far eastern end of that same corridor, where Ocean Parkway comes down to meet Surf Avenue.
Getting Here
From Coney Island to Ocean Parkway
From Coney Island–Stillwell Avenue
The Stillwell Avenue terminal, at Stillwell and Surf Avenues, is the end of the line for the D, F, N and Q. Take the Q east and it calls at Ocean Parkway, the station at our corner. The terminal has been ADA-accessible since its 2004 rebuild.
From Neptune Avenue on the F
Neptune Avenue station, on the IND Culver Line at Neptune Avenue and West 6th Street, is served by the F. If you are closer to that end of the neighbourhood it can be quicker to pick up the B68 along Neptune Avenue than to go back to Stillwell.
By bus along the corridor
The B36 runs between Coney Island and Sheepshead Bay via Surf Avenue and Avenue Z. The B68 runs from Stillwell Avenue along Neptune Avenue and West 5th Street and onto Brighton Beach Avenue, which brings you to the Ocean Parkway corner.
Driving and parking
Surf Avenue and Neptune Avenue both run east from Coney Island towards Ocean Parkway, whose southern end meets Surf Avenue near the boardwalk. Ocean Parkway has service roads flanking the main roadway with street parking.
Worth Knowing
Access and orientation
- The Q calls at both Coney Island–Stillwell Avenue and Ocean Parkway, so the trip needs no change.
- Stillwell Avenue is ADA-accessible; Ocean Parkway, the station at our end, is not. The nearest accessible station to the office is Sheepshead Bay.
- Our office is on the ground floor at 2993 Ocean Parkway.
